Description:
Roosters Wing Shack calls themselves “The home of the best
wings and beer selection in the area.” It’s located on the little strip of downtown
Three Rivers and there’s plenty of street parking and a lot in the back. The
restaurant is super chill, tons of seating, bar games, full bar, plenty of
decorations, and a massive rooster in the front window.
For all of those wings lovers this place has an awesome
variety of wings sauce and dry rubs. There’s 22 different sauces to try,
ranging from the mildest parmesan to the hottest “Cryin’ Wolf” and “Toxic”
sauce flavors. Not a wings fan? You can still add the sauces to a burger (like
I did to my veggie burger). There’s also a good variety of other bar food
options like appetizers (the spinach and artichoke dip was awesome),
sandwiches, 100% beef burgers, salads and other entrees. Also the food came out
super-fast (yes it was a weekday night but still) and the server was helpful
and polite.
It’s a perfect place for a chill fun bar night with your
friends. Roosters Wing Shack has 16 rotating taps, fun cocktails, and a full service
bar. I currently see that they have a new watermelon cider on tap that I’d
definitely go back to try.
Everything is pretty well priced too. A cider, a veggie
burger, and splitting the spinach and artichoke dip did not put me over $18
even with a nice tip. They have happy hour, beer flight specials, weekday
deals, and smoked wings available Friday and Saturday after 4pm. They also have
cornhole tournaments and other events that you can find on your Facebook page.
Also be sure to check their hours because they vary on certain days (Monday
& Tuesday 4-10pm, Wednesday & Thursday 11-10pm, Friday & Saturday
11-12am, Sunday 11-9pm).
Overall it was a tasty, reasonably priced restaurant I
stumbled upon driving through Three Rivers with a fun atmosphere, friendly
staff, and good company.
