COVERT MI(WKZO AM/FM) – A multi vehicle accident in Covert Township Saturday has killed a 7-year-old boy.
Covert Township Police report that at around 2 pm, a Buick Regal ran the stop sign at 28th St and M-140, striking a Saturn Vue travelling north on 140.
That impact caused the Saturn to strike a southbound vehicle on 140.
The victim was a passenger in the Saturn, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Saturn was taken to an area hospital and is listed in stable condition.
The investigation into the accident is continuing, with possible charges to be sent to the County Prosecutor’s office.
