BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Prosecutors presented detailed evidence against Derek Horton who appeared in Calhoun County court on Tuesday.
He is accused of killing his girlfriend Amber Griffin who has been missing since late June 2020. After several months searching for the 27-year-old, Battle Creek police presume Griffin is dead. Horton is charged with open murder related to her disappearance.
