KALAMAZOO MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The issue of child care has come to the forefront during the pandemic, with parents scrambling to find affordable and available day care for their children.
The YWCA is expanding their center downtown to a new 24-hour center in the Edison Neighborhood.
Called the YWCA Edison Children’s Center, the facility will be the state’s only early childhood learning center with three shifts plus a 24-hour drop-in center.
Officials with the YWCA say that there is currently a wait list, but parents can get on that list by going to: https://app.waitlistplus.com/YWCAKalamazooChildre/Portal/Signup.
