PAW PAW MI (WKZO AM/FM) – An accident late Wednesday night in Van Buren County sent a man to the hospital with life threatening injuries, and resulted in his car being split in half.
The Van Buren County Sheriff’s Department reports that the accident occurred around 10 pm at the intersection of County Roads 671 and 374 in Paw Paw Township.
The vehicle was westbound on 374, when it lost control, left the road, and struck a tree.
The impact of the mishap caused the car to split in half, and the 59 year old driver, from Lawrence, was thrown from the car.
