KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Downtown Kalamazoo is getting set to welcome the return of their annual St. Patrick’s Day parade Saturday, March 11.
According to the Irish American Club of Kalamazoo, the parade is expected to begin at 11 a.m. on Burdick Street near Michigan Avenue, and travel south to Cedar Street.
Those planning to attend the 20th annual event will be able to park at various locations around downtown. Additionally, various downtown streets will be offering free 90 minute parking, or metered parking.
Every year, local groups, families, schools, businesses, non-profit organizations, sports teams, celebrities from both local television and radio outlets all participate in the annual event, according to the Irish American Club of Kalamazoo.
