BARRY COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A man was hospitalized after being thrown from a boat during a crash on a lake in Barry County on Sunday morning, May 14.
Officers with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources responded to Pine Lake, west of Delton around 11:20 a.m. where they learned that a motorized boat crashed into a sailboat, knocking the man into the water.
Rescuers pulled the man from the water and took him to the hospital.
Authorities say at this point it’s unclear what led up to the crash which remains under investigation.
