HOWARD TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Three people were injured in at two-vehicle crash in Cass County. Sheriff’s deputies say it happened Friday evening, May 26 around 10 p.m. near the intersection of Carberry Road and Yankee Street in Howard Township.
Investigation showed that a 21-year-old female driver was at the stop sign at Carberry Road and Yankee Street, then drove into the intersection, striking a vehicle with a 42-year-old female driver and her passenger.
All three involved were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Authorities say alcohol and drugs do not appear to be a factor and that seatbelts were worn by all at the time of the crash.
Assisting in this crash was Howard Township Fire, SMCAS EMS, and Michigan State Police.
