KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Metro Transit in Kalamazoo is looking for a few more new employees.
The public transportation service, called Metro is set to host a job fair next week on Tuesday, August 22.
The event will be held at the Metro Administration Building, located at 530 North Rose Street where those interested can attend one of two sessions, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and from 5 to 7 p.m.
Metro officials say they are looking for people who are safety-oriented, friendly, dependable and confident in dealing with the public.
They go onto say that those who are hired will be offered medical insurance, a pension, paid training and a starting wage of $21.33 per hour.
