PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Here’s another commuter note for those in the Portage area.
Starting Wednesday, August 23 at 8 a.m., Schuring Road from Oakland Drive to South Westnedge Avenue will be closed to through traffic for a water service installation.
Motorists traveling northbound and southbound on Oakland Drive and South Westnedge Avenue are advised to follow the posted detour route of Oakland Drive to West Centre Avenue and South Westnedge Avenue to Romence Road.
Portage City officials say the work on Schuring Road should be completed by 5 p.m. on Thursday, August 24 weather permitting.
