BATTLE CREEK, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – A 66-year-old man died Wednesday morning after a bicycle crash in the Post Addition.
Battle Creek Police say they responded to a call at 7:18 a.m. about a bicyclist who had hit a utility pole at the intersection of Mott and Mary Streets.
Witnesses said the unidentified man rode down the hill on Mott Street and struck the pole.
When police arrived, they found the man had no pulse, and officers gave him CPR until medical help arrived.
The man was taken to Bronson Battle Creek Hospital, where he later died.
Police are waiting for additional medical information before the man’s cause of death is determined.
