AUDIO: Union members on strike at Knappen Milling Company in Augusta

AUGUSTA, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – BCTGM Local 3G union members have gone on strike at Knappen Milling Company in Augusta.

Lisa Gregory is an international representative for BCTGM and came out to the picket line to support them yesterday.

Union member Rick Madison says they need more staff.

They want better safety measures put in place for the small company along with higher pay. The union walked away from contract talks when the strike began, and Knappen Milling Company has not made a new offer.
