PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Portage Public Safety says they have cleared Crossroads Mall after it was evacuated last night for a bomb threat.
Officers said the Build-A-Bear store was the target of the threat.
Public Safety Director Nicholas Armold says the call about the bomb was most likely a swatting call that came in around 6:45 p.m.
The mall closed for the night after being evacuated.
A bomb-sniffing K-9 searched the mall and found nothing.
