KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Kalamazoo Township board has approved spending $125,000 on cleanup efforts from last Thursday’s severe storm.
The weather downed power lines, knocked over trees, and blocked roadways.
The funding was approved unanimously by the board yesterday.
Superintendent Tracie Moored says the storm was disruptive to the community and the cleanup “is a significant effort that reflects our commitment to service and stepping up when our community needs support.”
