KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Myquan Rogers will serve between 26 and 70 years in prison for shooting and killing Western Michigan University student Naya Reynolds and an unborn baby in 2022.
Rogers pled no contest to second degree murder, assault with intent to murder, and other charges in April.
His sentencing was rescheduled two times and happened yesterday.
Rogers used a stolen AR-15 to fire at a vehicle on the Oakland Drive ramp to I-94, killing the WMU student and the unborn child of a 35-year-old woman.
