GRAND BLANC, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Governor Gretchen Whitmer says the entire state is supporting the Grand Blanc community that has been shelled by a mass shooting and arson at an LDS church.
Speaking in Grand Blanc, she says there are places people go to feel connected and safe, but “this place has been shattered by the bullets and broken glass.”
Whitmer said while it might be “a familiar pain,” she says “it hurts all the same every time.”
She spoke with President Trump after the shooting Sunday, and he posted on Truth Social “this appears to be yet another targeted attack on Christians in the United States of America.”
