OSHTEMO TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — New details have been released about shootings Friday night that left several people injured at a Kalamazoo County banquet hall. It happened just before midnight at the Birches Banquet Center in Oshtemo Township where a large gathering was taking place.
The exact number of victims has not been reported as well as any suspects believed to be involved. Injuries ranged from minor to serious but no fatalities were reported.
The Sheriff’s office believes this incident may have involved the notorious X-Train, who hold late-night parties with large groups of people. They have recently spread from downtown Kalamazoo to other parts of the county, making it harder for law enforcement to shut them down.
