SILVER CREEK TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Cass County investigators say a two-vehicle crash in Silver Creek Township Tuesday afternoon left one person dead. It happened on M-152 near Phillips Rd. at around 5:45.
A westbound vehicle collided with an eastbound vehicle that had crossed over the centerline. The eastbound vehicle overturned during the collision and both vehicles ended up catching fire.
One of the drivers was taken to an area hospital and was later released. The other driver died at the scene and no information about their identity has been released.
This crash remains under investigation.
