KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The cause of a Kalamazoo house fire that displaced six people last week is still unknown, but officials determined it was not arson.
According to the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety, the fire at the multi-family residence happened a week ago Tuesday, March 6 around 8 a.m. near the intersection of Portage and Bryant Streets.
Authorities say the fire that left the home a total loss, started in a studio apartment on the first floor.
