MILTON TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A single-vehicle crash into a house turned into a foot chase and an arrest on Friday, August 11 say Cass County Deputies.
So whoever was home at the time at about a quarter past 3 a.m. got quite the wake-up call when a vehicle crashed into their residence near the intersection of Redfield and Ironwood in Milton Township.
While the crash itself pretty much took out the garage, authorities reported no injuries of anyone who may have been inside at the time of impact.
Deputies say the driver, a 23-year-old Niles resident, attempted to flee the scene after the crash, but was ultimately found, arrested, and lodged at the Cass County Jail on multiple charges.
They went onto say that alcohol does appear to have been involved in the crash which remains under investigation.
The Howard Township Fire Department, SMCAS Ambulance and Cass County K9 Neera assisted at the scene.
