KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Thousands of people showed up for several “No Kings” protests around west Michigan Saturday.
Two were held in Grand Rapids, where 50501 volunteer Ramona says it had been being planned for several weeks.
Another protest was in Kalamazoo, bringing people along Drake Road, and others were in St. Joseph, South Haven, Muskegon, Saugatuck, Holland, and Lowell.
They were united in their opposition to President Trump’s policies and actions to send the National Guard and U.S. Marines into Los Angeles to combat anti-ICE protests.
The protests were nonviolent.
