KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A second man has been charged with felony murder, first-degree home invasion, armed robbery, and three felony weapons charges for the 2021 shooting death of 33-year-old Gerryon Kye in Kalamazoo.
28-year-old Julius Robinson Jr. is currently in federal prison in West Virginia for a separate shooting at an Oshtemo Township liquor store in 2023 and is due to be released from that sentence in January 2030.
23-year-old Isaiah Wilhite was convicted in July for the break-in at Kye’s home and will be sentenced in October.
