PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – To kick off fall, the Portage Parks Foundation will be hosting its third annual Oktoberfest this Saturday, September 13 from 2:00-7:00 p.m. at South Westnedge Park.
The foundation says Oktoberfest is a free, fun-filled community celebration that is open to the public, where you can purchase and enjoy “must have” German beer, along with other adult beverages. Foods will also be available for purchase from Off the Cuff Catering, Kalako Street Cuisine, The Little Scoop Ice Cream Truck, and Kona Ice.
German foods will also be on the menu, along with limited-edition commemorative Oktoberfest plastic beer steins, while supplies last.
Polka music will be provided by The Packard Family Band, in addition to free activities like keg rolling, cornhole, giant Jenga, giant Tik Tac Toe, and giant checkers.
