KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Kalamazoo County Board of Commissioners chairwoman Jen Strebs is running for the state House in 2026.
Strebs will seek the seat currently held by Democratic Representative Julie Rogers, who is term-limited.
She says she needs to stand up for the community and says, “working-class folks are being grifted by a group of criminal oligarchs and wannabe tyrants in Washington.”
Strebs helped to lead efforts to erase medical debt for over 7,000 Kalamazoo County residents and develop an 80-room transitional shelter for the homeless while leading the county commission.
