BERRIEN SPRINGS, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A 31-year-old Kalamazoo man is in police custody in Berrien County after Michigan State Police found roughly 50-pounds of crystal methamphetamine in his vehicle last week.
He was seen Thursday meeting with his suspected drug source and led police on a chase that ended on US-31 near Berrien Springs when he ran over stop sticks, got out of the vehicle, and ran.
The suspect was found and arrested Friday after police spent about eight hours searching for him using drones, K-9s and perimeter teams.
His name has not been released.
