BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Visitation for former Congressman Joe Schwarz of Battle Creek will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Friday at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home on Capital Avenue NE in Battle Creek.
His funeral mass will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Philip Catholic Church at 112 Capital Avenue NE in Battle Creek.
Schwarz died at 88-years-old last Wednesday.
The doctor served as Battle Creek mayor and a state senator along with the U.S. House.
