SPRINGFIELD, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A 21-year-old Battle Creek woman has died after she was shot in her head just before 3 a.m. Saturday at a party in Springfield.
Taylynn Kissinger was shot in the 4200 block of West Dickman Road and died after she was rushed to a hospital.
An 18-year-old Battle Creek man was arrested on weapons offenses and is in the Calhoun County Jail awaiting arraignment.
The circumstances around Kissinger’s death are still under investigation by the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office.
