KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Kalamazoo County officials say local nonprofits are setting up an emergency relief fund for those who were hit by Tuesday’s tornado.
Administrator Kevin Catlin says he’s been making calls.
It would not only provide supplemental assistance to those who may need the help the most, but also provide a safe place for those who want to help and donate.
Catlin says there may be eligibility standards for the funding.
He says for now he recommends anyone needing assistance should call 211, which will be the central source of information for victims.
