KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Western Michigan University Broncos will host the University of Michigan Wolverines for their first outdoor hockey game in January.
The teams will play at Waldo Stadium in Kalamazoo on January 30th.
Waldo Stadium is the Broncos’ football home and opened in 1939.
WMU won the NCAA national championship in hockey last season, but lost in the regional final this year to the University of Denver.
The Wolverines are the number-one seed in the Frozen Four this year.
