BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – The Wall That Heals, a mobile replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, has returned to southwest Michigan to honor the millions of Americans who served in the Vietnam War.
Escorted by a massive motorcade of hundreds of veterans and motorcyclists Tuesday, the traveling exhibit arrived at Harper Creek High School in Battle Creek.

The three-quarter-scale replica bears the etched names of 58,281 service members who made the ultimate sacrifice, offering a deeply reflective space for local families and surviving veterans to pay their respects.
The exhibit will be open to the public 24 hours a day with free admission from Thursday through Sunday.

Alongside the 375-foot wall, a mobile education center will showcase local “hometown heroes” and artifacts left at the permanent memorial in Washington, D.C.
A formal welcome home ceremony is scheduled to kick off the event Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m.
