KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The woman who was shot and killed early Sunday morning in Kalamazoo has been identified as 49-year-old Latraysa Brown.
Brown was shot around 4:15 a.m. in the area of South Burdick and Reed streets and died after being rushed to a hospital.
Kalamazoo Public Safety says the shooting is not believed to have been random, but they have not made any arrests.
Captain Danielle Guilds says she was shot inside her home while her family was asleep, and someone knows what happened.
